MY LISTING IS EXPIRING WHEN?
We are always trying to find ways to make your work life easier and more efficient. In this spirit, we have recently instituted a new feature within Matrix to alert you to expiring listings.
If you have a listing that will be expiring in the near future, there will be a pop up message when you log into Matrix to give you a heads up. These pop ups, known as Messages of the Day (MOTD), are designed to get your attention when there is important information we need you to see.
There are two different points at which Matrix will generate this targeted MOTD:
- 10 days before the Expiration Date
- 3 days before the Expiration Date
The message for listings that are 10 days away from expiring looks like this:
The message for listings that are 3 days from expiring is in yellow, to convey more urgency:
These messages will show up in the News & Alerts widget (in the upper left corner of the Matrix home page) the same as any other MOTD the MLS (or your local Board) posts. The 3 day notice will still show up in your News widget with a little yellow bar in front of it, so you know it is an urgent message:
In addition to this new feature, you can still use the My Listings widget on the Matrix home screen to keep track of your listings that are due to expire so you can get that extension in time.
There will be a red notification in the My Listings widget when an agent has a listing that expires within 14 days:
The office broker, manager and admins will have a similar notification for any listings within the entire office that are expiring within 14 days:
Our Data Checker program will also send out a notice to list agents that have a listing that expires 7 days from the current date. This only applies to listings that are currently Active, Show and Withdrawn.
